Katie C Gray
Katharine Clark Gray has worked in Resnicow and Associates’ administrative department since late 2014. She acts as executive assistant to David Resnicow.
Katie is an internationally produced playwright, screenwriter, producer, and educator. Her cyber-thriller User 927 gained national media coverage and won her both a Pew Fellowship in the Arts and the Reverie Next Generation Playwriting Award.
Her first feature as a producer, If You Could Say It In Words starring Marin Ireland, won Best of Fest and Best Feature at the Derby City Film Festival and was invited to screenings worldwide supporting autism awareness and self-advocacy. Her latest feature, The Paper Store, which she wrote, produced, and art-directed with Uncompromised Creative just made its streaming debut on Flix Premiere.
Katie spent a number of years as a teaching artist in Philadelphia, including with the Wilma Theater and the Mural Arts Program. She has worked extensively with incarcerated populations and at-risk youth, and was named the 2016 Playwright in Residence for Voices Inside/Out, a cooperation between the New York theatre community and Kentucky’s state prison system. She graduated summa cum laude from Ithaca College, where she received a Bachelor of Fine Arts.
