Vice President Maria May Rejoins the Firm

New York, NY

Vice President Maria May rejoined Resnicow and Associates this month, bringing nearly 15 years of experience in arts communications and management to the firm.

Maria originally joined Resnicow and Associates in 2011, following ten years in-house at cultural organizations in positions focused on communications, marketing, and development. She specializes in the launch of new organizations and building brands from ground up, with experience both on the client side and at R+A.

During her four years at R+A, Maria led the communications campaign for the launch of the Eli and Edythe Broad Art Museum at Michigan State University and the opening of its Zaha Hadid-designed building in November 2012. She also provided strategic counsel and message development for one of the most iconic theaters in the country – The Public Theater – and led the communications campaign for the rededication of the Company’s landmark home in downtown New York City.
