Juliet Sorce
Juliet has deep experience spearheading integrated communications programs for an international roster of clients across the arts and culture. For more than 20 years, she has partnered with museums, foundations, nonprofit organizations, cultural institutions, and galleries to develop and implement strategic institutional communications campaigns that strengthen profile, raise visibility, and build audience and engagement. As Executive Vice President, Juliet is a member of the executive leadership team overseeing company priorities, policies, staffing, and growth.
Juliet brings expertise in modern and contemporary art initiatives in particular, as well as in new building and expansion programs, executive leadership transitions, and crisis mitigation and management. Past and current clients include The Frick Collection; Park Avenue Armory; Frieze Art Fairs; Madison Square Park Conservancy; Institute of Contemporary Art, Miami; The Metropolitan Museum of Art; Helen Frankenthaler Foundation; and Merce Cunningham Dance Foundation, among many others.
Prior to joining Resnicow and Associates in 2004, Juliet was an editor at Tema Celeste, a bilingual contemporary art magazine based in Milan. She previously worked at the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum in its Education Department, where she managed the production of department publications, developed and edited content for exhibition guides, and facilitated project implementation.
Juliet serves on the Executive Committee of the Association of Art Museum Curators as its Vice President of Advocacy. She previously served on the marketing committee at the Children’s Museum of the Arts. She earned a master’s degree in Italian language and culture with Middlebury College in Florence and graduated from Yale University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in humanities and art history.
