POSITIONS
Senior Account Executive with Working Knowledge of Architecture and Design Media
Resnicow and Associates is seeking a strategic and nimble communications professional with specific interest and knowledge in architecture and architecture media to join our team as a Senior Account Executive.

As an SAE, you will serve as a key client contact, ensuring seamless communication and strategic execution across multiple accounts. You will be deeply immersed in every aspect of your accounts—tracking developments, anticipating needs, and driving results that align with client objectives.

Candidates must have a minimum of 3-4 years of relevant communications experience, including direct experience securing earned media, managing coverage, and an understanding of the ever-changing media landscape. Preference will be given to candidates who bring management experience and have strong media contacts in the architecture and/or design sectors. Agency experience is a plus.

Position requires strategic thinking and exceptional client services skills; excellent written, verbal, and organizational skills; ability to manage and work to multiple deadlines simultaneously; work independently, with teams, and with clients; and think creatively and critically.

We are specifically looking for people who bring:
— A passion for architecture and design with familiarity more broadly across arts and culture
— Confident speaking presence and presentation panache, both on Zoom and in person
— Polished and sophisticated writing tone that can adapt for a variety of audiences
— Positive mindset that views challenges as opportunities and brings solutions to the table
— Ability to make complex ideas easily digestible
— Strong interest in the communications landscape and the evolving tools of the trade

Responsibilities include:
— Media relations strategy, planning, and implementation including: proactively developing content and editorial story opportunities; pitching and placing stories in national, regional, and trade media as well as working knowledge of and/or relationships with content creators, podcasters, substack writers; familiarity with managing partnerships and thought leadership campaigns; building and maintaining personal network of meaningful media and influencer relationships.
— Day-to-day management of 5-6 accounts including overseeing junior staff and managing timelines and scope
— Client liaising and coordination; building trust with clients
— Writing and editing, including development of press releases, toolkits, media alerts, fact sheets, newsletters, talking points, key messages, bylined articles and other owned content materials, case studies, key messages, social media copy
— Managing press events
— Supporting leadership with new business proposals
— Keeping abreast of industry trends, best practices, and evolving technologies and tactics; staying current and gaining proficiency on new platforms

Salary Band: $70,000-$83,000 (commensurate with experience)

Resnicow and Associates is seeking dedicated, creative, and nimble strategic thinkers to join our team as Assistant Account Executives.

Candidates should have 1-3 years of work experience (inclusive of internships) with a demonstrated interest in the arts and culture. Positions require clear, technically proficient writing; strong verbal communication skills; critical and creative thinking; and the ability to work independently, in teams, and with clients.

We are specifically looking for people who bring:
