POSITIONS
Digital Account Executive
The Digital Account Executive supports R+A’s digital services for clients and for the firm, including developing and implementing content; supporting the development of content strategies; and analytics reporting. Under the direction of R+A’s Digital leads and in tandem with account teams, the Digital Account Executive will work with R+A clients across the arts and culture landscape to implement content strategies, deepening the reach and impact of their online and owned content initiatives. The role reports to the Associate Director, Digital and account team leaders as appropriate.

Agency responsibilities include:
– Execute cross-platform digital initiatives for R+A, including social media content creation (captions and visuals), implementation, community management, and analytics reporting
– Support the development and distribution of agency email newsletter
– Support website content updates and development
– Monitor arts and culture issues and trends across digital platforms
– Provide counsel and implementation of digital best practices for agency

Client responsibilities include:
– Collaborate with R+A teams to support clients’ digital needs, deliverables, and best practices, including content creation (captions and visuals), community management, and analytics reporting
– Monitor social listening software for agency clients
– Source content creators and assist in the development and execution of campaigns

Qualifications:
– 2-3 years’ experience with social media and digital marketing campaigns for arts and culture organizations or mission-driven nonprofits
– Knowledge of the digital landscape and best practices
– Demonstrated familiarity with the arts and culture landscape, including social media influencers
– Demonstrated familiarity with design and editing software to create digital content
– Demonstrated familiarity with third-party social media management tools
– Ability to multitask, prioritize, work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and collaborate effectively
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills; experience developing online content
– Attention to detail and strong editing skills
– Strong organizational and time management skills

Salary Band: $60,000-$70,000 (commensurate with experience)

Assistant Account Executive with Background/Interest in Architecture
Candidates for the Assistant Account Executive position should have 1-3 years of work experience with a demonstrated interest in the arts and culture.

Positions require clear, technically proficient writing, strong verbal communication skills, and organization; critical and creative thinking, and the ability to work independently, in teams, and with clients.

Responsibilities include: Developing content and materials; pitching and working directly with the media, communications project management; support in developing communications strategy, coordinating events, and campaign planning and implementation; client reporting and liaising; and database management.

Preference will be given to candidates with experience in the art, culture and design sector—especially architecture—and those that have cultivated a network of cultural media relationships.

This position is based in NY with the flexibility to work from home up to two days a week.

Salary Band: $50,000-$60,000 (commensurate with experience)
