PANEL: Live Lab Atlanta: A Conversation

Event Date:
18 June 2020
Atlanta, GA

Zoom Panel Conversation: Thursday, June 18 at 12:00 p.m. – 12:30 p.m. EST.

In a Zoom panel conversation, presented by the High Museum of Art, the High’s Associate Curator of Photography Gregory Harris moderates a discussion between Magnum Live Lab photographers Carolyn Drake, Mikhael Subotzky, and Lindokuhle Sobekwa, as they share their experiences making pictures during the COVID-19 pandemic.

While the Spring 2020 exhibition for Live Lab, a photography residency and related exhibition organized in collaboration with the international photographic cooperative Magnum Photos, has been postponed to a later date, the Zoom panel conversation offers an opportunity for the photographers to share their perspective on an artist’s role during difficult times and provide insight into their current work and creative process.

Registered participants can contribute to the conversation by submitting questions in advance for the panelists to answer during the conversation.

To register for the free Zoom meeting, please visit the museum’s website
