Alex Klimoski
Alex Klimoski develops, supports, and implements strategic communications campaigns for renowned design firms and cultural and arts institutions, drawing upon her ten years of experience as a writer, critic, and editor for architecture and design publications, including Architectural Record, The Architect’s Newspaper, and Interior Design. Her writing, which focuses on urbanism, new building projects, and the cultural and social implications of design, has also appeared in The New York Times, Metropolis, and CityLab.
Prior to joining R+A in 2021, Alex managed PR initiatives for architecture firms including Marvel Design and Behnisch Architekten.
Alex received a Bachelor of Science degree in Design and Environmental Analysis from Cornell University, and a Master of Arts in Design Criticism from the School of Visual Arts, where she wrote a thesis examining the semiotics and production of architectural renderings.
