Alice Murphy uses her wide-ranging experience in the visual and performing arts to help cultural clients achieve their strategic goals.
Alice joined Resnicow and Associates in 2018 and currently works on communications campaigns for the Art Dealers Association of America, The Israel Museum, and the Meadows School of the Arts at Southern Methodist University.
Prior to joining R+A, Alice served as public relations manager for The John and Mable Ringling Museum of Art, where she developed and executed press strategy for the institution’s travelling exhibitions, performance program, circus museum, historic mansion, and arboretum. While marketing manager for the American Friends of the Israel Philharmonic, she transformed their brand identity and marketing strategy, creating content driven communication across all platforms. Alice also worked at Sotheby’s where she planned and executed marketing campaigns for several high-profile auctions, including the bi-annual Impressionist and Modern Art Evening Sale. In 2011, Alice was integral to the media strategy for the opening of Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art.
Alice holds an M.A. from New York University in art and business, and she graduated with honors from Goucher College with a double major in history and art history.
