Andrea Cihlarova supports the development and implementation of media relations and communications campaigns for organizations focusing on the visual arts, the performing arts, and design.
Andrea joined Resnicow and Associates in August 2016 and is currently working on communications campaigns, strategic planning, and brand positioning for the Apollo Theater, the Dallas Museum of Art, the Baltimore Museum of Art, Safdie Architects, and Thyssen-Bornemisza Art Contemporary. Most recently, she worked on the year-long communications campaign for the U.S. Pavilion at the 57th International Art Exhibition, La Biennale di Venezia (2017), commissioned by the Rose Art Museum at Brandeis University and the Baltimore Museum of Art, and featuring the work of Mark Bradford. She previously worked on communications campaigns for the Corning Museum of Glass, SWA, and Meislin Projects.
Her previous experience includes positions in the public relations and marketing departments at M&C Saatchi PR, Eleven James, and American designer Prabal Gurung. She has also written for Guest of a Guest and Washington Square News.
Andrea graduated cum laude from New York University with a double major in Media, Culture, & Communication and Art History. She speaks Czech and French.
