Operations Intern (Summer 2024)

Resnicow and Associates is seeking an operations intern to support our NYC office in summer 2024. This internship is part of an effort to increase representation of BIPOC voices in our field as well as in the arts at large. Preference will be given to BIPOC candidates with a demonstrated interest in the arts.

Internships are paid ($15/hr), beginning June 2024 and ending August 2024 (end date is flexible, depending on university schedules). The internship can be used for college credit. The position will be based remotely and/or in person, depending on the preference of the intern, and interns are asked to work a 20-hour week, depending on schedules.

Through this internship you will:

  • Build an understanding of how a small business operates
  • Gain experience working in a fast-paced agency setting while increasing your understanding of the structures and systems that support communications work
  • Have the opportunity to learn about the media landscape and effective database management
  • Refine your organization and communications skills through completing an independent project and presenting it to the full staff

The ideal candidate will be an intellectually curious problem solver with a strong interest in arts and culture; demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills; and be detail-oriented, hardworking, and organized. The intern will report to the Vice President of Operations, who will serve as both mentor and manager on day-to-day account tasks.
