Clarissa Marzán supports strategic planning and integrated communications programs for visual arts, architecture, and cultural organizations across the United States.
Clarissa joined Resnicow and Associates in 2016 and has focused on institutional positioning and communications campaigns for Brooklyn Public Library, Morphosis Architects, Siegel Auction Galleries, the Art Dealers Association of America, The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art, and The High Museum of Art. Past clients include Frieze Art Fairs and Opera Colorado.
Prior to joining R+A, Clarissa worked in the publicity department at Simon & Schuster, where she executed national media campaigns and book tours for bestselling authors such as David McCullough, Walter Isaacson, and Naomi Klein. As an undergraduate, she completed internships at Yale University Press (in New Haven and in London), Jacob's Pillow Dance Festival, and Politiken in Copenhagen.
A native New Yorker and lifelong dancer, Clarissa graduated from Yale University with a bachelor's degree in comparative literature. She's fluent in Spanish and French, and speaks some Portuguese.
